Lion C. Rajagopalan, founder and Chairman of the Jayapriya Group of Companies, is a respected entrepreneur from Kothamangalam, Tamil Nadu. Beginning his career as a clerk at NLC, he built his enterprise through determination, introducing innovative hire-purchase and EMI models before founding Jayapriya Chit Funds in 1985. Under his leadership, the group expanded into diverse ventures including finance, insurance, international money transfer, hospitality, theatres, agencies, and real estate. With a strong commitment to quality, trust, and sustainable growth, he has helped establish Jayapriya as a prominent name in Property Development and allied businesses, while also contributing actively to social welfare through the Jayapriya Charitable Trust.
Mr. C. R. Jayasankar, Managing Director of the Jayapriya Group, is a dynamic business leader with qualifications MBA in Finance. Beginning his career as an employee at Jayapriya Chit Funds in the early 1990s, he rose to become Managing Director through dedication, strategic vision, and strong leadership. His focus on punctuality, innovation, ethics, teamwork, and customer satisfaction has driven the Group’s steady expansion into finance, education, hospitality, and real estate.
